Styrene Bubtaiene Rubber (SBR)

Explain :

SBR is a copolymer of butadiene and styrene. Its physical mechanism performance, processing performance and product performance are close to those of natural rubber, but its foreign body is less. It is the largest general synthetic rubber and is often mixed with natural rubber. Generally used temperature range: 30 C - 100 C.

Chemical Structure :

 Advantage :

1. Low-cost non-oil-resistant materials.

2. Good water resistance, hardness below 70 with good elasticity.

3. Compression deformation with high hardness is poor.

4. Most neutral chemicals and dry, wet organic ketones can be used

Disadvantages :

Strong acids, ozone, oils, esters and esters and most hydrocarbons are not recommended.

Purpose :

Widely used in tire industry. Footwear, rubber and conveyor belt industries.
