Polyacrylate Rubber (ACM)

Explain :

ACM is an elastomer composed mainly of acrylate. Its structure is special. Its main chain is saturated carbon chain and its side group is polar ester group. Therefore, ACM has many excellent characteristics, such as petrochemical oil resistance, high temperature resistance and strong weather resistance. Its mechanical properties and processing properties are superior to fluoroelastomer and silicone rubber, and its heat resistance and resistance are better than fluoroelastomer and silicone rubber. Aging and oil resistance are better than NBR, but mechanical strength, compression deformation and water resistance are weaker, slightly worse than general oil resistance rubber. Generally used temperature range: - 45 C - 170 C.

Chemical Structure :

Advantage :

1. Suitable for Automobile Transporting oil.

2. It has good antioxidant and weather resistance.

3. It has the function of bending resistance.

4. Excellent resistance to oil products.

5. Suitable for automobile transmission system and power steering wheel.

Disadvantages :

1. Not suitable for hot water.

2. Not suitable for brake oil.

3. It does not have the function of low temperature resistance.

4. Not suitable for phosphate esters.

Purpose :

Used for automotive transmission system and power system seals.
