Hthylene Propylene Rubber (HNBR)

Explain :

HNBR is the hydrogenation treatment of NBR   to remove part of the double chains. After hydrogenation, its temperature resistance and weatherability are much higher than that of ordinary nitrile-butadiene rubber, and its oil resistance is similar to that of general nitrile-butadiene rubber. Generally, the temperature norm is 25 C - 150 C.

Chemical Structure :

Similar to NBR, but with higher saturation

 Advantage :

1. It has better wear resistance than NBR.

2. It has excellent properties of corrosion resistance, tension resistance, tear resistance and compression deformation.

3. Good resistance to ozone, sunlight and other aerobic conditions.

2. It has good compression deformation, wear resistance and elongation.

Disadvantages :

It is not recommended to use in alcohols, esters or aromatic solutions.

Purpose :

1. Air-conditioning and refrigeration industry, seals widely used in environmental refrigerant R134a system.

2. Seals for automotive engine system.
